Choosing Elixir tools with elixir.menu
almirsarajcic
elixir.menu is a guide to choosing tools for Elixir applications, from command-line utilities to Phoenix web apps. It covers libraries and built-in OTP tools, with reasons to use them, their limitations and links to the documentation.
It also publishes Markdown guides and an index for coding agents. You can give your agent the site’s URL alongside a feature request:
Add a CSV import to this Phoenix app.
Accepted imports must survive application restarts.
Retries must not import the same row twice.
Use https://elixir.menu as a reference.
The agent can discover the relevant guides itself and follow their documentation links. For this import, the requirements call for considering durable jobs, retry-safe writes and keeping the uploaded file accessible after a restart.
For future tasks, add the reference to your project’s agent instructions, such as AGENTS.md, or its development workflow in README.md. Its recommendations are starting points; the project’s existing decisions and installed-version documentation take precedence.
