# Introducing KogenCredo 0.1.0

Generated code can repeat mistakes in error handling and tests, so KogenCredo 0.1.0 adds 35 configurable Credo checks for patterns worth reviewing.

Enable the checks you want in `.credo.exs`:

```elixir
%{
  configs: [
    %{
      name: "default",
      checks: %{
        enabled: [
          {KogenCredo.Check.Warning.SkippedTest, []},
          {KogenCredo.Check.Warning.BroadRescue, []}
        ]
      }
    }
  ]
}
```

These entries select checks for skipped tests and broad rescue clauses. Add `{:kogen_credo, "~> 0.1.0", only: [:dev, :test], runtime: false}` to your dependencies and run `mix credo --strict`. KogenCredo requires Credo 1.7.19 or newer within 1.x and Elixir 1.17 or newer.

The package also includes seven advisory diff rules, suppression and golden-configuration integrity helpers, and advisory unused-public analysis. Diff findings and unused-public results need review: static analysis cannot see every caller, callback or dynamic dispatch. The integrity helpers need a trusted policy outside the code being checked.
